DMASS: europäische Halbleiter-Distribution erzielt 11,7% weniger Umsatz in Q1/2020

Umsatzentwicklung seit Q1/2019

Die DMASS meldet einen Umsatz ihrer Mitglieder in Europa im ersten Quartal 2020 von 2,19 Mrd. Euro. Das sind 11,7% weniger als im Vorjahreszeitraum. Während im skandinavischen Markt ein Umsatzrückgang von 38% zu verzeichnen war, waren die Umsätze in der Region Osteuropa mit einem Minus von 4% am wenigsten vom allgemeinen Rückgang betroffen.

  •     Deutschland: 646 Mio. Euro (-11,8%)
  •     Italien: 203 Mio. Euro (-6,5%)
  •     UK ohne Irland: 129 Mio. Euro (-19,4%)
  •     Frankreich: 140 Mio. Euro (-17,7%)
  •     Skandinavien: 154 Mio.Euro (-38%)
  •     Osteuropa: 389 Mio. Euro (-4%)

  • Analog: 647 Mio. Euro (-12,2%)
  • MOS Micro (Mikrocontroller, Prozessoren und DSPs): 427 Mio. Euro (-9,9%)
  • Power: 247 Mio. Euro (-10,3%)
  • Optoelektronik: 202 Mio. Euro (-6,3%)
  • Speicherbauelemente: 186 Mio. Euro (-18,2%)
  • Programmierbare Logik: 155 Mio. Euro (-6,2%)
  • Diskrete Bauelemente: 114 Mio. Euro (-24,9%)
  • Andere Logikbausteine (ASSPs, ASICs usw.): 119 Mio. Euro (-8,6%)

Georg Steinberger, chairman of DMASS: “Predictions are difficult, particularly about the future… while our expectation was clearly that Q1/2020 would not be a new record, we deemed it to be the end of the last down cycle. COVID-19 is not only assaulting the health of people around the world, it has created a situation where economies will suffer for some time. The shutdown in many countries and the slowdown of industrial production is affecting the electronics industry quite severely, with the biggest impact yet to come in the next quarters. What it also did was distort the visibility in the supply chain, which makes it hard to predict what the industry might need in the next few quarters.”
